A Legacy of Service For more than two decades, Leading Edge personnel have served Bend’s aviation community and the western United States. During that time, our core business was focused on aircraft avionics installation, repair, and sales. New Horizons 2005 brought many changes, including new ownership, a new management team, and new horizons.

Enhanced Maintenance Services Along with the avionics repair station, an FAA-approved maintenance repair certificate has been added, giving our clients a “full service” option. A large portion of this new department’s responsibilities is overseeing the Robinson Helicopter Overhaul program. This program supports the ongoing operation of the Robinson R22 and R44 helicopters complying with the mandatory 2200 hour overhaul requirement. Aircraft Sales Leading Edge Aviation is Central Oregon’s authorized dealer for Robinson Helicopter. We also help clients buy and sell aircraft. Flight Training Program Our FAA approved training curriculum offers both Part 61 and Part 141 training. We offer an accredited program through Central Oregon Community College for students pursuing a degree in Aviation Science. Expanded Charter Services We fly Bell 206 Jetranger R44, and R22 helicopters— providing clients with on-demand charter, photography, sightseeing, fire fighting, search and rescue, heli-skiing, utility, and agricultural operations. |
